Been There, Done That. Not Going Back..
I'm a Mom On a Mission and I'm no Spring chicken. I've been around the block a bunch of times and I've tried a lot of things whne it comes to diet, exercise and nutrition. Like most American women, I don't think my story is unique as I talk to more women and men around me who have experienced a similar journey.
I did raw food, 95% in the mid 90's, did lacto-ov after that, gluten-free, the Master Cleanse for 22 days straight, juce fasting, colon cleansing, juicing, intermittent fasting, tracking every calorie I ate, weighing every morsel of food ...sheesh, I get tired just reading that list!
I did it all with the goal of staying lean. As a professional chef and mom that can be tough; with stress and lack of sleep playing havock with one's system. I am a driven woman and I'm relentless when it comes to finding a better way to do things. Yet, at the end of Dec. of 2012, I was stuck at 180lbs and a size 18 (not my heaviest weight btw).
I did everything my doctor told me to do: "Logan, just eat less and exercise more". So I committed to going to the gym 4-5x a week and cutting out two meals a day, every other day, with intermittent fasting. I was tired and I was working hard but I was stuck and not happy.
But in January of 2013 I found an solution that helped me find balance while helping me excell at my fitness routines at the same time. I'm excited to share what I discovered with you because it's easy and life changing.
